FREE!
so something about me that i want to share on the blogosphere is how i spend my money. i usually spend gift cards the way i think i SHOULD spend them and now how i want. for my birthday, my friends generously gave me amazon gift cards, and i thought i'd spend it on something fun and silly. so i used it on the ZOKU and splurged and go the large one ($49.99 on amazon, no tax & free shipping). so, i saved 1 penny! now that was just for the middle piece. the two side pieces you see below, were a FANTASTIC surprise!
the extra sticks & extra tools kit are another story - a fantastic story! and here we gooo...
i had some merchandise credit left over from williams sonoma. i REALLY wanted the accessory package but NEEDED the sticks. so what would a normal person do? probably just buy what they needed. i gambled and picked up both items. TURNS OUT - it was a GREAT gamble! with my gift card... both boxes ended up being $1.80! :D
UPDATE
used the zoku for the first time tonight! it was FANTASTIC! next time i use it, i'll try to do a step by step, but honestly, that just takes so much time... anyway, i got the 3 stick machine and it totally made 9 popsicles, as promised! however, i will say that it was not as fast as advertised - or i should say, not as fast as i interpreted the advertisement
this one was the first popsicle made by the zoku - notice the crisp-ness of the pop... not like the next one: all watery.
this one is pineapple w/ a strawberry lemonade fill!
this one was one of the LAST popsicles made. the shape is still there, but it's a bit softer - so you have to consume it more quickly, which isn't the WORST thing... the one pictured here is trader joe's strawberry lemonade, trader joes peach yogurt and trader joes mango lemonade. DELISH!
a GREAT investment!
