l.berry update

here's an update on how l.berry's been doing.

l.berry is an amazing kid. for people who know me, i rarely say positive things about him (hahaha, when i write it out it looks so much harsher than i think it is, but yea, i need to work on that) out loud to others, but he really is amazing. 

everything is taking off for him - he's a little person. he always corrects me when i call him my baby, referring to himself as a big boy. he

playing catch with daddy - who knew?

lately, b.berry is l.berry's favorite person - always looking for daddy, they have great fun. they build with legos, go play at the park, watch dora, play on their respective devices (l.berry's play computer & my ipod while b.berry is on his ipad), and read books. i love watching l.berry thrive under his daddy's care and love. 

it's one of those things where i realize that it's so easy to pigeon hole your kid into something early on. i mistakenly had my "french fry moment" with him waay to early (rev. dr. stephen um's sermon reference from like 5 years ago). 

the 3rd girl in his life: me first, then k.berry, and then dora. although, on any given day, he may choose dora over myself or k.berry ;) 

the book in his hand: chicka chicka boom boom, a favorite and the necklace is something he and i made for the mothers day activity at his school

jump, jump!

did you know that kriss kross (one of the two) recently died? i was horribly mortified, as he was quite young, and i LOVED that song as a kid... anyway, l.berry is totally into jumping these days. off the couch, off the stairs, off his bed, while he's walking, and of course on the playground.

 this is C, l.berry's best friend at school. the teachers tell me that these two always try to one up each other... like if c laughs hard, then l. berry will try to laugh harder, if c. does a raspberry with his tongue, l.berry will do it harder... they escalate each other and i love it. they also love each other - always sitting together when C comes to school and playing. :)

love my little boy, though we fight often and i realize so much that he has the elements of me that drive me nuts. hahahah. :) love him though, with all i've got. 

our memorial day - i love l.berry's heart for his sister, both the good and bad. they love each other and l.berry has a special relationship with b.berry.
