i think i can safely say that we like to keep busy. since christmas, we have gone to a local park daily to try out our new (favorite) toy: the scooter.
l.berry on his orange scooter, as that is his favorite color lately. negotiating the helmet was tough, but well worth the struggle.

watching the two of them figure out how best to get on and off the scooter has been a joy. l.berry finding out how he can go faster and seeing him ride with his foot kicked up is THE BEST. (i just realized i do not have a picture of that pose, and must get on it.) i'm always a bit hesitant getting him on these types of toys. there is a part of me that wants him to do it of course and the other part of me worries that i should have exposed him sooner so he doesn't fall behind. (a reoccurring conversation i have in my mind). as always, he surprised me and got on the scooter with no problems - and really enjoyed it!
k.berry just wants to keep up with big brother - and her personality is such that she just goes for it. :)
