tasty tuesday #1

i never thought i'd get used to the blog thing, but i'm starting to look forward to updating it everyday, rather than dreading it. i'm starting to "feel" more creative - no whether or not that's true is a different story, but STILL, b/c i feel creative, i'm updating more. :)

as some of you know, i looove to bake and cook. and i've been wanting to post a recipe - not orignial, but maybe one day i'll have an original one to post - that i go to for easy meals. i love the pioneer woman not just because her recipes are EASY and DELICIOUS but to make it better - i love how she posts HOW TO MAKE the food she makes! she does a step by step picture and so you KNOW EXACTLY how to make item. I found another chef - who does the same and she does more ethnic types of foods and fancies them up. her name is julie yoon. i also found a korean food blog that lays out measurements and the step by step process like the two ladies above, but i can't find that despite the 100 blogs i read everyday. GOOGLE READER - GET IT IF YOU DON'T HAVE IT!

today's recipe for the day comes from a blog that i get deal offers off of too. This particular recipe, though, caught my attention because on my way into work this morning, i wanted to make some banana bread but she put a NICE twist on banana bread and made it strawberry banana bread. you can find the recipe here and there's a picture of the recipe below :)
