anniversary shmaniversary

in light of our anniversary celebration this month, and all the amazing things my husband is doing, i wanted to honor him through this post.b. berry and i celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary last weekend. we did our traditional dinner (w/ no picture, me thinks) at flemings steakhouse with discussions of a possibility to change this venue. :) still, we devoured our prime rib steaks and the CREAMED SPINACH (it's a must if you ever go there). they sent us away with dessert and we loved our waitress! the next day, we were able to go somewhere. my parents pay into a time share that led us to doheny beach/dana point. it was very breezy, cool and humid last weekend. here are some pictures to show for it:

can i just say i'm DIGGIN' the new slideshow option? that will DEF. motivate me to post! (as i write this, baby is shifting around, i guess she agrees!)

these past few months have been incredibly straining for our family. you see, the berry writing here, has been attending summer school classes twice a week. b. berry spent the mid-afternoon tutoring all summer and poor l.berry was just toted around or hung out at home all summer. this past week, l.berry went back to day care, i started work and wrapped up my finals.

b. berry has been doing the dishes EVERY night, vacuumed the entire house yesterday, cleaned all the bathrooms, has been doing chores around the house. On top of that, he has been taking care of l.berry primarily. i have never felt so sacrificed for in my life. my husband is an amazing example of sacrificial love. he never complains or looks like he's groaning. he's so good with l.berry and continues to support me while I struggle through balancing school, this pregnancy, taking care of l.berry, and work. through it all, i realize, i have been not as appreciative... and need to encourage and love him more and more.
