God is incredibly gracious... amen? well, other than that being the truth, this year, all of our calendars had spring break the same week!

MARCH 28, 2013 - DELISH.DISH #3

we kicked off spring break with dinner to celebrate the full 6 days ahead... :)

after all, breakfast IS the most important meal of the day. we hadn't been here in AGES... wonderful wonderful choice!

SUNDAY, MARCH 31 - DELISH.DISH #4

a lazy sunday night dinner

yes, it was DELISH

recipe elements:

1 package trader joes seafood mix (thawed & cooked in a butter/olive oil mixture)

crushed red pepper - probably like 2 TBLS (after, b/c l.berry wanted a taste)

3 cups trader joes basmati rice (cooked according to package instructions)

combine!

TUESDAY, APRIL 2

we have some projects in the house that needed some attention. the first project was REALLY diy. he installed the door frame months ago and these last pieces were just the finishing touch. here's the man in action...after less than an hour - the door was complete! :) what a great handy day!

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 3

we are blessed with WONDERFUL friends. annie, over at life's a piece of cake, kicked the adult berries out to go out on a date. so thanks to her, we were able to enjoy my $30 voucher from benihana. want the same thing? click here to sign up!

THURSDAY, APRIL 4 - DELISH.DISH #5
spent the day together at the outlets. i was so proud of myself - didn't buy a THING for me! everyone else in the family got something, though. :) it was nice to spend on my little berries... (the big one got some new clothes and sunglasses)

our final day together. we went to ikea to complete the two main DIY projects this week. the addition to our kitchen. we've been looking for a kitchen console since we've moved in back in 2010. here's the kitchen addition of 2013.
