Happy First Birthday, L.Berry !!

I can't believe that my little is no longer a baby, but a TODDLER. well, technically, he's been a toddler since around 9 months, but anyway, he's OFFICIALLY  a toddler now! I can't believe it, I just can't believe it!

The  most common thing that people say is that "time flies" and honestly, it really does. From the day he was born to today, I just can't believe it.

THEN:

within minutes of being born - l. berry, born at 2:33am on march 13, 2010

peacefully sleeping - too bad it didn't last long ;)

NOW:

Some of the things that my little L. Berry does:

• He loves to dance - drop a good beat or sing "Trouble Maker" by Weezer - and he'll start dancing (swaying back & forth).


• He babbles all day long


• He stacks these blocks - Melissa & Doug blocks & a Mother Goose set he got for his birthday


• He loves loves books


• He goes into my kitchen just to be nosy


• He runs to the garage when we say "let's go out" and wait to put his shoes on


• He greets the tree outside our house, happily, and loves staring at it.


• He chases us around the couch, but only after waiting for us to make our move first! (smart!!)


• He leans over to make sure that you are looking at him


• He participates in conversations


• He comes over to be a part of the hug that my husband and I are giving to each other.

I could go on & on, but I won't :)

My husband and I took him to the park today to celebrate his birthday.  Our original plan was to take him to the zoo, but it just didn't work out. L. Berry fell asleep and stayed sleeping until about 3:30pm. So, the zoo was out of the picture. In hindsight, this was probably a better alternative.

happy happy birthday little one - we are so thrilled and blessed because of your existence in our lives. mommy & daddy pray for you everyday and want you to come to know our Lord Jesus. :) For this birthday and at least until year 2, we want you to:
