backstory - so, we were supposed to shoot at a different park right AFTER the fashion island shoot. Nick Yutaka scouted the area, and the sun was setting perfectly as we drove less than five minutes to this park. well, guess who fell asleep?? yep, that would be my son. he's got IMPECCABLE timing, wouldn't you know. [after thought: i should've taken a picture] he was PASSED out and we were shouting his name, hoping to wake him up. did he budge - NOT A CHANCE. so, we went home and guess who woke up right when we pulled up? YUP - that would be him.
Nick graciously agreed to shoot the following week at irvine regional - again, the coolest park ever! here are some shots from that day. One last notable: the last picture in this series is one of my favorites b/c it was the first time he let us hold his hand while he's walking!! :)
