Our Photoshoot with the VERY talented Nick Yutaka, Part 1

I met Nick two years ago at a birthday party for my friend, Lisa's son, D. I was manning the guest table and he was the photographer that shot this AMAZING signature shot of her kid - there was a single bubble in the picture and that's all it needed. it wasn't long after that i decided that i wanted him to shoot my pictures when i had my kid.

so a relationship was built and long story short - here we are.

A couple of reasons why i love Nick
  • He's very thorough - answers all of my questions and then responds with follow up questions

  • He's a perfectionist - will shoot until he gets his shots

  • He's just a nice guy - no explanation needed

  • He has a supportive wife - she wouldn't support a guy that isn't worth it :)
enough about nick... onto his work!

the first set of shots was done at fashion island. we wanted to shoot at barnes & noble b/c my little guy LOVES his books. Nick was swift and his creative eye didn't hurt either, especially with a fast moving target.

a rare family picture - thank you Nick!

snuggling with my snuggle puppy - i LOVE sandra boynton
