brotherly love, part 3

April 23 - Our last day in the city of brotherly love. We were VERY fortunate to run into some wonderful friends! They made a trip to New York coincide with our visit and we were able to meet up for brunch. :)
I met this wonderful Italian woman during my program at Boston College. She is amazing - kind, generous and just simply lovely. She and I married the same year, 2007 and had kids the same year 2010!  We've gone to New York together and have developed quite a wonderful friendship, despite the time constraint (me living on the west coast and her living on the east). Her husband is quite phenomenal. He's a scholar and a leading expert on terrorism in Europe. He's incredibly disciplined and equally generous. He is the opposite of arrogant, despite his vast knowledge - which in my book justifies any type of arrogance, and an amazing man. Their little guy, Bambino, is wonderful. He and L. Berry will be pen pals and long distance family friends. :)

Gazing - Bambino & Me

Nice double chin there, Mrs. Berry. Bambino looks very inquisitive... :)

Bambino & Mr. Berry.Staring RIGHT INTO THE CAMERA!  He is gorgeous! Mr. Berry's okay too ;)

Amazing food - I had the macadamia pancakes with mango caramel sauce + bacon. soo good that L. Berry ate an entire pancake.. :) (without the sauce of course!)

You will be greatly missed! But we are very thankful for Skype! Can't wait to see your little Bambino grow up... and hopefully, one day, we'll meet again!
