money saving monday #2

i'm going to keep trying this out - i feel like this works b/c it's once a week. here are the ones that caught my eye:

1. TOMS - okay, so honestly? not a huge fan, not sure what the obsession is all about. i like the cute colors and most importantly, that another kid gets a pair of shoes when you buy a pair. i recently went through a very painful 8 months of plantar fasciitis, so i'm VERY picky with shoes. Toms are very flat, so i suppose if you don't have any problems with that, you're okay. although i'm a bit skeptical, i'm posting b/c k-berry <3's her silver toms, gifted by a friend and she has another pair of sparkly purple toms - another gift. can't deny a girl her <3 for shoes... 

TOMS Shoes cuts $5 off orders of $25 or more via coupon code "TOMSSPRING5". That's tied with our mention from three weeks ago and among the best dollar-off discounts we've seen from TOMS Shoes. (For further comparison, we saw this discount listed in January coupled with sitewide free shipping.) Shipping starts at $5.99, but orders of $65 or more qualify for free shipping. 2. ITUNES GC - for all you crazy candy crush people... this is the item for you. or if you're playing clash of clans, like b. berry and some of my extended family... 

Staples offers a $50 Apple iTunes Gift Card for $40. With free shipping, it's tied with our December mention as the best offer we've seen for a $50 iTunes gift card. (For further comparison, we saw a $25 gift card for $20 last week; however, it required a Kroger membership and in-store pickup.)





3. FREE LEGO MAKE & TAKE! - this is in honor of l.berry. i mentioned all the other berries, so this one is JUST for him. he is totally into lego's lately, but he's too young, so this is for all of his older friends! :) enjoy!

You can build a LEGO Sea Turtle for FREE at participating LEGO Stores tomorrow night, March 5th at 5pmas part of their FREE Monthly Mini Model Build.  Kids between the ages of 6 and 12 will get to build a LEGO Sea Turtle mini model and take it home – for FREE! Make sure to get their early because quantities are limited and offer is good only while supplies last.
