the giving project - cards 15-18 [28]

i didn't forget! i've been crafting & taking pictures... but life has gotten in the way of my diligent blogging... i was doing so well too. but no worries. i'm back at 10, will have to work harder to close that margin! :)

so here we go with the update. so i'm actually getting better at making cards - at least in my opinion. of course you are more than welcome to disagree. i really think the make and take event really helped. 

THE GIVING PROJECT - CARD #15 
I had this SAVED as a draft when the card number in the brackets was 22! good grief am i behind! I gave this to my friend last Wednesday!


here's one i made for a VERY special friend of mine. she is a wife, a mom, a colleague, and a great friend. she has 4 amazing kids (anyone who knows me knows i think the world of her and her husband) and that's enough evidence to say that she's amazing :)

THE GIVING PROJECT - CARD #16

this one is for my college roommate, weird noise. that's her nickname. i had a group of 4 girls that i hung out with pretty consistently .. we all had our nicknames: weird noise, big cheeks, long hair, wide load and funblonde. she is one that put up with so much... b/c i was ... not the most fun person to live with during that time, especially. hahaha. thanks weird noise. <3 funblonde

this card was given to the graduate studies processor at csulb. i've been experiencing some difficulty with some program details and she patiently guided me through it all. i thought - how can i really show her i am thankful?! why.. a handmade card, of course!
